Job Description:
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Speech Pathologist at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. This Speech Pathologist offers:
- M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm, 40hr per week

Job Requirements:
The Position will have the following requirements:
- Any State License
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in communication disorders or speech pathology
- Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- 36 months of direct experience as a speech pathologist in a hospital setting.
Core Duties:
* Develop coherent treatment strategies.
* Incorporate new clinical procedures sufficient to perform clinical services independently.
* Conduct patient assessments; provide treatment interventions and consultation to other health care professionals.
* Use instrumentation (e.g., video fluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, stroboscopy, computer technology) to observe, collect data, and measure parameters of communication and swallowing
* Provide prevention, screening, consultation, assessment and diagnostic, treatment, intervention, management, counseling, and follow-up services
fordisorders of speech and language, including comprehension and expression in oral, written, graphic, and manual modalities.
