Active Secret clearance and US Citizenship required

The GeoBase Administrator will support an Air Force mission by provide geospatial solutions to attain, maintain, and sustain the PACAF and AFIMSC GeoBase vision of one geospatial information structure that electronically depicts built and natural infrastructure on each Air Force installation.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for GeoBase Administrator: $95,000 -$103,000

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

GeoBase Administrator Responsibilities Include:

  • The GeoBase Administrator position works closely with our government counterparts daily to plan and execute projects such as GIS data development, web application development, the coordination of GIS training and the maintenance and accreditation of the GeoBase hardware and software. The goal is to help Air Force organizations get the most out of GIS technology.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

GeoBase Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree or M.S. degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline preferred.
  • 3 years of experience with the use and administration of Esri's ArcGIS Desktop and Server solutions
  • Familiarity with administrating and configuring web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
  • Familiarity with web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop, web, database, server problems
  • Experience with GIS data development in an enterprise environment
  • Experience integrating enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processes.
  • Experience gathering requirements for applications from users of geospatial information.
  • Ability to obtain a CompTIA's Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience providing formal and informal training.
  • Experience with and knowledge of advanced relational database concepts preferred.
  • Experience providing formal and informal technical training preferred.
  • Experience with the USAF GeoBase Program preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Map 3D preferred.
  • Experience with Trimble's resource/mapping and survey grade GPS solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of SDSFIE preferred.
  • US Citizenship is required per our government client and AN Active Secret Clearance
  • Programming and scripting experience preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
